So here you are – looking again at another “super-dooper this-one-is it-I-know-I-can-make-it big-in THIS one”  internet marketing opportunity.  You are revved up to finally make it after failing (just like me) in another online business.  You see yourself driving that Mercedes or fishing from your luxury cruiser…

and you see yourself finally making it in one of those ”work at home online business opportunities”.

But suddenly you wake up from your splendid dream and say, “No… not me.  Maybe others can – but not me.”

Here’s the problem.  The majority of all businesses want you to do the same worn out methods and expect a flood of people to flock to their business.  Many online “this is it!” businesses are over-hyped with too much emphasis on “me too”.

Example of what most online business opportunities want you to do:

Buy leads

 

Talk to your “warm market” (family, friends, employees).. give me a break, please!

 

Talk negatively about the other online opportunity.  (You will find many businesses for example telling you that CarbonCopyPro is a scam)

 

If you are looking into a business that requires you to do any of the above, forget it.  These methods simply do NOT work.

So what are some  key secrets to “making it this time”.  Hang in there!  Yes you can.  But follow these three secrets:

1.   You must have the proper MINDSET:

Re-wire the way you think.  You must STOP believing that you are worth less than you really are.  You must determine what you are worth.  Right now your employer decides what you’re worth.  Right?  You bet!

 

Remember that you will never earn more than you think you are worth.

 

Be willing to leave your current comfort zone about your worth.

 

2.   Take Charge of Your MARKETING:

Here’s an example of what I’m talking about.  Suppose for a moment that you “signed up” with an online home based business selling a particular product.  You shell out ,000 to purchase your product; and next morning you wake up to find ,000 worth of product delivered in your driveway.

Your product may be the greatest potion or lotion the world has ever known.  But here comes the “but”:  If you do not know how to effectively market that product, it will sit in your garage ’til the proverbial cows come home…and you will be out ,000.

The bottom line is this:   “Leave out effective marketing, and you’ll watch as your bottom line plummets! Your business is sure to fail.”

 

3.   Clearly Define your MISSION

There’s a story about how Vince Lombardi met at half-time with his team when they were truly blowing it during the first half.  Here’s the gist of what he said:  He looked around at his team, and said, “Men – we need to go back to the basics.”  Lombardi held up a football and said, “Gentlemen?  This is a football.”

Apparently the team had not clearly defined their mission.

If your “mission” with your online home based opportunities is about “ME” striking it rich, then you might as well forget about even joining up with that opportunity.  Nothing turns off your leads and customers more than sounding like you are desperate to make this “sale”.

You need to re-think your mission.  realize that your customers really don’t care much about how well YOU are doing.  They simply want to know what’s “in it” for them.

Hear this:  People don’t really care how much you know until they know how much you care.

 

Change your focus.  Revise your thinking by saying something like this:  “I will focus on helping others rather than being so desperate to sign someone up. I will focus on helping others find what’s important to them rather than being so self-absorbed about my little deal”.

 

Success awaits you as you have the proper MINDSET, take charge of your MARKETING, and clearly define your MISSION.

You say, “I’m scared hearing about all this recession talk. I have dreams, but the more I listen to the news the more I truly feel that my dreams will never be realized.

 

You’re not alone! If you’re like me (and I know most likely you are, because you have a pulse) you indeed have a right to be concerned about what’s happening these days.
